Zero Waste and Sustainability Award at the Halkbank Üreten Kadınlar Competition

Kybele’s Garden received the Zero Waste and Sustainability award at the 2026 Halkbank Üreten Kadınlar (Women Producers) Competition.

Our co-founder and CEO Aygen Savaş Alkan received the award on behalf of the team.

Since 2021, when we started at METU Technopolis with TÜBİTAK support, we have been building an algae fermentation platform that turns algae into ingredients for agriculture and cosmetics. Our work on food is at R&D stage.

The award was covered by egirişim (24 July 2026) and in an interview with Aygen Savaş Alkan in Sabah (30 September 2026).
